Big Game Hunting Maps

Based on information obtained from State and Federal biologists working in the field, we have identified popular and quality hunting areas on National Forests and many Bureau of Land Management (BLM) managed areas( about 200MM acres combined) in the west. Most maps are for deer and elk, however check the " Indexed Maps" menu for all big game species.

Each map identifies several areas recommended for hunting. Hunting unit boundaries are shown on each map and some maps show migration routes from the summer range towards the winter range. Most maps cover portions of several hunting units. Many units are shown on more than one map so carefully study the details under each State listing to be sure you get the units you want. Harvest data which covers a three year period accompanies each map.
