Alpine Wilderness Retreat - The Kamloops Rainbows grow rapidly and reach respectable sizes 4 & 5 pounders are not uncommon. The thrill of hooking one of these wily and power Rainbows on light tackle is an experience that will live with you forever. As we are at an elevation of 4600 feet, our lakes remain cool for prime fishing throughout our June to October season.

Our main lake, Elbow Lake, is only one of six lakes that are available to you. Our other hidden and remote lakes are all within easy walking distance of the main lodge on clearly marked wilderness trails. Rainbows in all lakes attack a wide variety of flies and other single hook lures, so whatever your skill in the Elbow Lake Chain.
